Country Potatoes in the Oven

In restaurants, fast food, along with the traditional "french fries", offer the option of "rustic".   • 1.0 kg of peeled tubers;
  • 10 g of salt;
  • 100 ml of vegetable oil;
  • 20 g of spices (paprika, a mixture of peppers, oregano)
  1. Cut peeled potatoes into slices along the tuber.

  3. Bring to a boil, salt and boil for 12-13 minutes.

Useful tips

To make the dish moderately crumbly, but the slices retain their shape, cook potato varieties with an average starch content, for example, Premier or Fontana. Of the amateur varieties are good "Sineglazka" or "Santa".

Pre-boiling potatoes has the same meaning as freezing this product before delivering the restaurant. This reduces the cooking time in the oven and allows you to achieve crisp and crumbly middle.
